Our Mission

We at Barrington provide our students with an environment committed to excellence and enhanced by all available resources. We instill pride and respect for self, school, and community, and inspire our students to become creative and critical thinkers.

Our Goals

First, we want to ensure that all students will exit Barrington at or above grade level as Communicators, Problem Solvers, and Presenters.

Second, our goal is to actively involve parents as partners in the educational process.

Third, our goal is that students will exit Barrington possessing interpersonal skills to be responsible learners and cooperative team workers.

Barrington Elementary School in Northeast Austin inspires students to become creative and critical thinkers.  Our experienced educators foster a culture of cooperation and respect to create a challenging and nurturing environment. Barrington is proud to provide Pre-K, Dual Language, and after-school programs.

Barrington encourages family participation in Brighter Bites, ePromotora, Thinkery, and offers ESL classes for parents. Barrington is part of the Northeast Early College High School family of schools, which offers students the opportunity to earn college credit and graduate with an associate degree.

Barrington se enorgullece de ofrecer programas de prekínder, lengua dual y programas extracurriculares.
