Barrington Elementary School is named after Mollie Barrington, who worked for the Austin Independent School District for 41 years. She was an admirable educator who was dedicated to supervising spelling and handwriting. Barrington Elementary is the only school in the district to have it's name in script on the front of the building. It is the authentic signature of Mollie Barrington.
